21 days, 18 hours and 28 more minutes....

crazy, right? also, eleven more days until i am home. this semester has gone by so fast (thank goodness) and i am more than ready for summer. along with wanting to gouge my eyes out from all this studying i have been doing, i have also started a new book, the girl with the dragon tattoo by stieg larsson. i'm only about one-fourth of the way through but so far it's great. hoping to finish it by england, fingers and toes crossed. will keep you posted on my progress... this past weekend has been a whilwind. my friend toni just turned twenty on saturday so we went clubbing in hollywood and had a blast until i realized that someone stole my bag and camera out of my car. had a minor panic attack and couldn't drive home but i'm doing much better now that i've gotten my cards canceled and my dad does not think i am a complete bimbo. here is our motley crew:
(i apologize for the awkwardness of this picture, even though this is how we always look :) must keep calm and carry on....

CHEERS.

in the words of my nephew kevin...

ARE YOU KIDDING ME???!!! (insert furrowed brow and italian-like hand gestures here) come this sunday my lovely ladies and i will be exactly one month away from embarking on our holiday to england! three cheers, horray! plans have been chugging along, such as:

>the purchase of two new cross body leather satchels ( one light blue and the other brown. my sister and i will share them, of course)
>the hunt for a rain coat has turned into the discovery of a rain jacket. macys. about $60. pretty darn cute.
>non-white tennis shoes have been properly located and purchased. apparently, they are not butch and they are not american looking, therefore i'll take them
> ok best part here: our neighbor, beth (british), has this brother matt (dashing fellow) who i had the lovely pleasure of meeting this past christmas holiday. he lives in bristol (just near bath where we will be staying) and said he would love it if alicia and i poppped over for a pint and a night on the town with him and his "single good looking vicar friend". YES, PLEASE. i have found my husband at last

....only three more weeks of school left and it's flying by! i keep on having to remind myself to finish strong (for the queen of course) and my father keeps reminding me that my reward will be a lovely two week holiday to ole' blighty! also, east of the sun is coming along just lovely, perhaps too lovely! i'm almost finished with it! if you happen to be bored at the moment you should take a wee look at this blog...really great ideas for adorable crafts and ideas, ok?? oh, and i have found my project for the summer with a little help from the v&a....

might take a few days...or years,

CHEERS :)

p.s. "my skin is kind of sort of brownish pinkish yellowish white. my eyes are greyish blueish green, but i'm told they look orange in the night. my hair is reddish blondish brown, but its silver when its wet, and all the colors i am inside have not been invented yet."

shel silverstein (where the sidewalk ends) ---> goal for the month: show the world my colors not invented yet!
