one year.

exactly one year from today i will be returning from my semester(s) in england!!! i was pondering this revelation while i was 'bout up to my elbows in water, scrubbing off marshmallow gunk from skewers from our bit of a soiree this friday. today i spent the whole day on the computer trying to figure out timetables for public transportation and find cheap hotels in the cotswolds. then i started to get all teary-eyed just envisioning myself there in those quaint little villages and that about kept me busy for a few hours. then later saturday i had a strong urge to pull weeds in the garden so i slapped on my wellies in this 90 degree weather and mucked through the non-existent mud. spent about an hour yanking those dang doo-das and all the time i was thinking about england yet again. toni (the wee lassie i am going with) claims i am going to cry when we touch down at LHR and quite frankly i would not be surprised if i started to burst out in tears of joy. also about a week ago i found this lovely site. one does enjoy new sites about england from time to time. its called pictures of england and i could spend hours on it! i must go to bed now... work tomorrow...bleh, but work=money for england so i best be perking up if i want some pounds to buy some tea at harrods. cheers!
